Has more features than MSI tomahawk max but only supports 3200mhz frame on and off. 3x pci express slots and 2x m.2 slots. The RGB logo is perfectly ok. Built-in i / o sheild you usually look at more expensive models does not feel fancy by Asus in this price range.

Perfect for me. Neat, much nicer than MSI tomahawk. I didn't expect much of the RGB log, but it was finer than expected.
    Built-in I / O Shield makes installation easier.
Really like the B450 f gaming

Have had the card for over 1 year now in combination with AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Processor and Gainward GeForce RTX 2070 Dual Fan. Can handle most games at a good level. Nothing to complain about.

I've had this for a year now and must say it works perfectly. Many features of BIOS which is appreciated. Personally, I am not a fan of the RGB lights but it is no problem when they can be turned off!

Bought this motherboard for a Fractal Design R6 White.
Together with a Ryzen 5 2600 and 16 gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400 Mhz memories.

Have tested Assasins Creed Odyssey and Rise Of The Tombraider at the highest settings. Floats on any good.

Not only does it perform extremely well, it is disgusting with the asus log too.

    Highly recommended!

Performs very well. Closed up RAM to 3200MHz and let precision boost be on so now my ryzen 5 boosts very well. No problems with sound at all as others have written. Everything works and the bios are easy to use and good.

Performs as expected. Not felt necessary with all other features found on the more expensive product ranges

    Update:
Now Sonic Radar and Studio are gone again, I don't know why.
With 26 ohms and 16 ohms headphones, the sound rattles when something happens on the screen, can depend on my graphics card / combination but it does make the "good" sound solution very uninteresting when it sounds so crap with them.
The MSI B450 Tomahawk is a better recommendation because it has better VRM and the audio solution here is not good enough. The support from ASUS for the cards is not the top either.
Run 1003 BIOS now and 3200 MHz 14-14-14-28 still.

I have had an X470-F before and it is perhaps strange to give a better rating on this card.

But here actually works Sonic Studio III and the detection of what you connect for audio devices. What the person is talking about I do not know. Of course it works with Windows 10, changing playback device to RealTek?

With the BIOS from June my card was delivered with, one could not set SOC and RAM voltage itself but with the newest BIOS it goes. The X470-F Strix with 1.03 volt SOC and 1.38 volt RAM was stable at 3400 MHz while this crashes with it while 3200 MHz seems to work. So the memory support is worse.

What you lose for those 700 SEK is simpler VRM, a little worse overclocking with it including for RAM, a little fewer USB ports but you still have 8 at the back so bad it is not and so other M.2 location is not connected via the chipset without dividing the bandwidth from the graphics card so the graphics card goes down in 8x if you use two M.2 units but on the other hand you get full 4x PCI express 3.0 on both which you don't get on the X470-F Strix so the NVMe SSD itself goes faster. Not a tradeoff I had actively chosen but that's it.

The disadvantage of both cards is that they automatically overclock as they are delivered and drive higher voltage than the processor is supposed to run as default. This is when Performance Enhancer is set to Auto from the beginning and you need to change it to default instead of turning off Precision Boost Overdrive. If you want the overclocking so sure let everything be but AMD believes that the guarantee does not apply if you overclock so ..

But yes, for me this card works the same way / in a way better than the X470-F Strix because the sound part works (the same ALC1220 also so cruel for being a budget card), of course with inferior VRM and actually a little worse M.2 and USB -support but it is a cheaper card with that.
The BIOS that I have checked on looked the same and now had the same functions to change the voltages and so, I have not set optimal timings on the memory yet but I would assume it is the same with it.

The second card is better on the paper, but this does not seem to play much role. Run with a 2600X instead of 2700X now and I actually get lower memory latency for some reason and basically the same single and quad core performance but of course better multi-core performance with 2700X.

    Update below late first test!
    ****************************
Nice short ... except that Asus audio drivers are not Win 10 compatible! The audio can only be obtained via HDMI, not headset / microphone.
The 800 MB installation package from the official site is wasted download bandwidth. Did you expect to rely on the built-in sound card - look ahead or wait Asus's bad updates :-(
By the way, a very competent card with a lot of settings..but the deal breaker for me because of the built-in sound card.

Update: got a new motherboard after complaint - the sound works great, so there was a hardware failure on the last one (!?) On a card that otherwise worked great. Does not get the rating up to the top - expected a little more regarding reliability from This manufacturer (an interesting thing in the context was that the firmware version was longer (!) than that ASUS on its support page considers to be "initial version" ...

To comment on previous posts, I have no problems with the sound.

Very tight frame QVL, bought a frame that was not included, F4-3200C16D-16GVKB, which, however, seems to work fine in 3200 with a Ryzen 2600.

May be more when I've had it longer, but it works well so far.
