    Update:

Free-Sync works well and I'm still happy with the screen. However, a pixel is already stuck after just a few days which lowers the rating slightly. I do not know if I have been unlucky or whether this reflects the quality of AOC's panels in general. However, the screen performs so well that I will probably keep the screen anyway.

    Original review:

Initially a very good impression! Got the screen today so haven't used it very long but plan to update later. Paid SEK 2099 for the screen and the grade is based on it.

At first I was a little worried that 1080p would be a bit slim on a 27 "screen but at the distance I have the screen it is absolutely no problem. The contrast and colors are also really good for a screen of 2000 SEK.

Some reviews (from sites other than price hunt) have mentioned backlight bleed and it also has my copy in the bottom left corner, but nothing interferes with the experience.

Response time is good for being VA, but eg. a faster TN panel definitely performs better. I drive with Overdrive on "strong" and it minimizes ghosting very efficiently, without major side effects.

250 cd / m ^ 2 in brightness sounds a bit stingy for a screen and it was also something that I was a little half worried about. Would have liked a little more brightness but the screen is bright enough for my purposes. My previous screen had the same value (250 cd / m ^ 2), but this one is clearly better.

Have an AMD GPU on the input so it will be fun to test how well Free-Sync works, update more about it later!

Might also mention that the whole structure feels stable and it doesn't feel like a "budget" screen at all. Unfortunately no speakers or usb hub but if you run the sound via DP or HDMI then you can at least connect headphones to the screen.

According to the description, it would only be with an HDMI cable but in my package it was with both an HDMI and DP cable which was a positive surprise.

For the price of SEK 2099, this screen performs well above expectations, and I am very pleased with the purchase.

Really good screen, went from a 23 inch model year 2011 full hd ips screen from asus. This has better colors and blacks, 144 Hz is a must nowadays. However, 1080p at 27 inches is at the pain limit for many in terms of pixel density.
