    Mixed feelings. I bought an iPhone 8 Plus $150NZ below median RRP. Happy about that. Also happy about my iPhone, as it fits seamlessly in my Apple environment. However, shipping was a bit of an issue. Whilst their website states delivery in 1-3 working days, it took 11 calendar days for me to lay hands on my new gadget. Fairness requires to mention that there were a failed Saturday's delivery, two weekends and a public holiday. Yet, ordering on a Friday afternoon, delivery was expected the Wednesday afterwards.

    Was happy with this store and made my 3rd purchase Aug 2018. While the tablet wasn't start right after an official update in Nov 2018. Tried to use the online contact and called them for at least 5 times during the whole Christmas period but got no reply, no answer at all. Finanlly tried email again and lucky enough it works. Then step by step, took several weeks to get a repair form to fill in. Had to buy another device to use during the long endless waiting. Will probably change this rating if it solved anyway.Im still waiting.....Not happy experience.

    I checked the emails, it pays to tell the truth. I am tempted to upload the email exchange here just to point this out. As it is always easy to place negative feedback when you dont get your way.

    My positive impression of supero started even before I bought from them. I received VERY prompt, informative replies to email queries I made about the phone I was thinking of buying. The commitment to pre-sales service convinced me to buy from them and after my phone arrived this morning, I've been very happy with the all aspects of the transaction. Especially the speed of the delivery. I bought on Thursday and it was here on Monday, no complaints possible about that sort of service.

    I've just bought from Supero again, two phones again, and once again, everything was fine. I like the additional shipping options now, it was nice to be able to choose the $10 option for each phone and save some money that way.

    Huawei Mate 20 X. I was a little nervous buying this online, but after very prompt return emails, and after requesting a phone call from Supero staff, I received that call with in the hour, so to speak to a fellow kiwi, in New Zealand, put my mind at rest. Super fast courier, I placed my order on a Tuesday morning, paid via paypal. I recieved the phone on the Friday afternoon! I am very impressed with the service and no doubt will be using Supero again in the future. I can recommend this company to anybody. Cheers 😎

    Always fast replies and swift delivery. Purchased several camera and lenses over the years, all smooth.

    Bought a A7III in November, it had a an issue on arrival, they arranged for a courier to collect it from me the next day and sent me a replacement which i got in around a week.

    Recommend and will continue to use.

    Do not buy from these guys! They do not ship warranties with their products, have no phone number or listed adress, so good luck if you product fails like mine just has. No one answers the phone, no one replies to email. They are no longer registered in NZ, and the Australian Govt has now started proceedings to shut the website down. Scam

    Finally heard back from them, not talking about fixing my phone but accusing me of lying. Heres the link to the ATP webiste, showing the aussie tax office proposing to shut them down.

    I would give this store a -1 if there was an option!

    Absolutely horrible do not buy from this shady online store!
    - They sold me a faulty laptop
    - When trying to get this fixed under warranty they have screwed me around for over 4 months and the issue is still ongoing
    - They are extremely hard to get in contact with as they don’t not have a viable phone number to contact, it is only through one email address and they do not reply in a timely manner
    - My issue is still unresolved and they have now stopped replying to my emails

    Save your money and time and buy elsewhere!

    This is the second item I buy from supero, and initially, I was a bit uncertain about the reliability, but I must admit that I was wrong. All was as described. The only small point is that in my case, the delivery took a bit longer than expected, but it was coming from overseas. Communication is good, and all the questions were answered in time. Recommended!

    Purchased a camera from Supero, went through pretty smoothly with quick communication when I emailed in. The only thing I would recommend for improvement would be a quicker tracking update - as when I received the tracking number the product was already in NZ, would have liked to have been able to keep an eye on it from the start.

    They were pretty good the first time round so i went back for seconds, and bought a Panasonic 15mm lens. Same level of service provided, prompt shipping, will gladly go via Supero again for future purchases.

    Poor communication & updates after my phoned died within 12 month of receiving it. I have to keep following up and still to date after more than 2-3 months I still have no idea where my device is or when I am getting it back.

    The few dollars I saved using Supero is poorly offset again the lack of service & communication when the device stopped working.

    In addition, when I reported this to trustpilot ... I got "supero.co.nz has reported your review because they don’t believe you’ve had a genuine buying or service experience. Reported reviews are temporarily moved offline" which didnt help as I've updated them with receipts and proof of purchase.

    Dear Supero, instead fighting bad reviews & trying to get them changed. Just provide me with a replacement as you said you would.

    I cannot recommend this company less.

    They sole me a hacked phone with malware built into the handset. Factory resetting does nothing to help, fullscreen ads appear immediately (before entering any account information or installing anything so it CANNOT be google-play installing aps tied to my account or something I've installed myself)

    Further investigation found that Supero sent me a Indian phone (country code 720 [os-1.11.720.6]) with a chinese self test/diagnotic (when you hold power button and vol-up to boot)

    when we purchased the phone it said "S-OFF" in the bootloader (Security off) which near garuantees someone has been fiddling.

    Fullscreen ads are bad... but its the compromised security of the phone which is terrifying. Should I install my bank aps on this phone? no way.

    After weeks of emailing them asking for support I gave up on Supero.co.nz. You should too.

    In the end I had to pay $170 to customs to have it released and Supero didn't help at all. They are completely dodgy.
    Do not buy from them. I wish I hadn't.

    Allowing for the fact that I purchased the lens on the 24th of December and was told to allow a few extra days for delivery there was no contact after the email on the day of purchase to inform me of an ETA. I waited just over two weeks before sending an email inquiry via the website . This was not answered. I then went to the facebook page and tried messenger which came back immediately with an automated reply telling me to email. I emailed amd got an answer quickly to say that I would have an update within 48 hours. No follow up. 3 days later I sent another inquiry and finally got a reply saying it would be shipped on Monday. I finally received the package on Friday, nearly the and a half weeks after ordering. The package was left on my doorstep during the day, in full view of passing pedestrian traffic. I think you need to update you customers on the shipping status if it is going to take longer than initially stated. The customs declaration for the cost was also understated by over $100 NZD.

    I prepaid for a xiaomi laptop with Supero and as an additional service, they installed an english operating system for me. This service (less than $100) was billed on a post-pay basis, ie I was not expected to have paid before they shipped the product. A few working days later, I had received the laptop along with an aggressive email that quickly escalated to accusations of theft and threats of legal action within just one week. I paid promptly, but I was shocked at how incredibly rude and unreasonable they were.

    Fast forward 6 months, and my laptop's trackpad stops working despite efforts to update drivers etc. I have sent multiple emails over the course of more than a month (they have no phone number) but they are simply ignoring me and refusing to engage in the warranty claim process.

    Buy from Supero at your peril.

    Initial purchase and transactions were very smooth, but attempts to contact the company regarding the product's status were very unsuccessful. Status did not change even up until product had been delivered, which was unfortunate. However, the product arrived in perfect condition and with all promised components so I'm satisfied with shopping with them. Would recommend if customer service and communication were significantly improved.

    Ordered a phone before xmas and the wrong phone was sent. Contacted Supero who acknowledged wrong phone was sent but have had very little replies to my emails.
  • Andre, If you would allow us at least a few hours to reply over Christmas/New Year period I think that is only reasonable.

    Had issues with Customs, Rang me up asking the value since it was declared as $319 and the person knew it was a $800+ phone. I was paying $60 more then if I bought it direct myself from China with Customs and shipping on top so thought it was going to be done by the book. Im lucky that the guy I was talking to was a good bloke and let it though with out charging me those fees after telling him the full story that I bought it from a NZ Shop but advised me they will be watching all items coming though under that persons name now.

    Then a issue with Courier since it was sent to a different persons name. "Tana Isaac", Delivery driver wouldn't release it since my name was different and I didn't think and said I was the only one that lived here when he asked. I had to go down to the depo with proof of purchase and ID.

    Be careful when dealing with this shop.
    If the guy I was talking to didnt let it though I was going to be charged.
    $139.35 NZD for GST
    $49.24 NZD for Customs fee
    Even tho I paid GST when I bought it off Supero.
