My initial experience with this unit was great - everything worked well. easy to configure, quite fast - no drama's
but more recently, it kept disconnecting me - the DSL LED stays on, but the internet light goes RED.
if you go to the netgear forums - its not hard to find a lot of people having issues similar to this.
looks like was ok, but (which I have) isn't so great.
usually rebooting the unit gets me going, but sometimes it can take switching it off for a while. very lame.
There is a beta firmware which looks to be a bit more promising - i'm in the process of getting it (you have to get it via netgear's support directly apparently, so i've asked for it) fingers crossed it fixes what is otherwise a great unit (except for the one job you really want it to do!?)

Bought this in a couple of days ago.

Everything works perfect, without the hassles ...

Unreliable, appearing regularly! Especially when loaded but sometimes it feels totally random. Then works only after reboot. I'm on my second now, which seems to have the same problem.

Once it retains its connectivity is the contrast canon, so I hope that a firmware upgrade could solve this, then there will be enough 9/10.

Have had my DGND3700 in around two weeks. The first week I tried to use it for what I bought it för.Bra wireless range and the ability to connect external hard drives and stream movies, etc. to ps3. None of these functions satisfactorily.

When I plug my external hd and connect the media player so found the first time a couple of movies (I have a lot of movies on it). Nobody went to drive on ps3 grade. He knew the whole thing down. Had to reboot, and on, and on to kick start it again. :-( I have now stopped trying to get to it ...

The range is that my previous Thomson modem / router. Thought put it up on the roof to improve the range. Does not work, then the plastic foot that whole plastic package is on, you can not take off.

So I am exactly where I was with my old modem / router.

Given that this would be a "wow" product according to specification, I must say that I regret this purchase. Really!
