amazing sounds for it's price. but the power button and volume knobs crap out after 1-2 years use.wire connecting the satellite speakers are also flimsy. logitech doesnt sell replacement satellite speakers. if you know a bit of soldering, with the right parts it's an easy fix. if not it's pretty much useless after 1-2 years.
hard to find decent quality PC speakers that don't feel like a cardboard box or sounds like a cardbox box nowadays, so will give it a decent score.

The BEST speaker i have EVER bought. The bass is amazing, and thats not an understatement. The sound is very clear, the construction is sturdy, the cables are thick (so the wire inside wont bend or contort easily). I am 100% satisfied with this product. I upgraded from the Logitech 506, and for an additional $40, the 623 is TONNES better. I mean, the rating speak for themselves.

absolutely incredible speakers. tight bass, and crystal clear treble that will leave your ears ringing and begging for more.

I love playing battlefield 3/4 with these, gunshots ring through the house and explosions can be felt in your chest.

if you want everything to be incredibly epic, these are the ones to get

I think aperture7 had them plugged into the wrong plug.

EDIT: I have added the last star back on, they had a soft crackling in the right speaker when the volume control was turned. The fix for this is to just turn the volume control back and forth quickly for like 30 secs till it clears up. must've been some dust in the potentiometer or something

An excellent purchase for the money in my opinion. Delivers more than enough power for every day use and has the sort of volume you would expect from a larger set of speakers. The ported subwoofer enclosure is strong enough to shake the house and easy to control with the bass knob. Although there is no way to tweak frequency response, the setup does feel quite balanced as it is.

My only issue is that it smells a bit of hot plastic or rubber during heavy use but if you don't mind your room smelling of new things then this is probably not such a bad thing.

These speakers are wonderful. The sub does not distort easily, and has a separate knob for the bass, which is handy. These go incredibly loud with my onboard sound from a Maximus VI Hero. They sound very clear, even at higher volumes. I was able to use these for a New Year's party, without turning them up above 75%. There's a headphones passthrough on the side of the right satellite, although no microphone passthrough. There is, however, an input jack so you can play music from a portable device without having to unplug from the back of the computer or other audio source.

Horrible quality of sound. It is worth no more than $50. A piece of crap made by Logitech. I seriously advise buyers to listen to it before buying it. It is worse than the speakers on most laptops and not very loud either.

The best product I ever bought! But the base box has not only benefits!

The product Z623 is nothing for hip hop, rock, rnb, (dubstep) which usually has low bass frequencies in the songs!

But on the other hand, the Z623 is perfect for people who listen to all kinds of electronics music and a little bit else (eg Electro-House, Hardstyle, Hardcore, Dubstep, pop) that usually have medium-low bass frequencies! The base is then PERFECT.

The tweeter on the satellite speakers is perfect as they should be! Good quality for low price!

Pretty good basic reproduction. It provides a better base when placing the base box somewhere in the room, to find the "spot". Tip for you is to place the subwoofer (the base box) somewhere where it "hides" for example under the desk.

    Update (after 6-7 years later)

Read my reviews here on the price hunt just over 6-7 years later, and the fyfan what embarrassing!
Just have to update this review, as it is not at all about what I like about this speaker.

Even though I still have this sound system today, since there is no other sound system for a computer for cheap money with good bass (love bass), I still think that the treble is how damn bad at all. It is incredibly sharp and can kill the ears, even in low volume. But the base, however, is very good. This speaker beats other modern computer speakers (in my case then, when I love bass), but this particular with the treble on the tripod speakers ... the fyfan what they can kill on their ears.

Lowers the grade from a 10th to a 4th haha

Bought at the office and run Spotify via a mac mini and an external Asus Xonar U3 usb sound card and yes what to say ... So deeply impressed by Logitech's bazaar! this little 6.5 "makes eights around a pair of big 12" floor speakers. The bass is incredibly bold and go and plays well with the satellites. Sick happy

Bought these since I previously had a similar slightly less from Logitech and were relatively satisfied. Unfortunately, they do not match expectations, they do not sound much better than the last 15 years old and cost half as much.

The middle register is very weak and the treble is undefined. The base is uneven and somewhat cumbersome. This is a bit of yesterday's sound. With this size and weight on the gadgets, I expect both better resolution and a much more even response today. Those who think that sounds good should try to lower the base to a minimum, then it's easy to hear how hard and gritty it actually is.

This sound was possibly ok 15 years ago. What still raises the grade to be approved is that the price is relatively low and it can be played high.

VERY sound, and also really good sound for the money. Even though the Z623 has a few years on your neck, you will hardly find better sound for your money. Significantly better than many of the more expensive speakers I heard.

Compared with my broken played Z2300 is a miracle.
Nice with a proper sound again, clear sound at 1500kbit / s FLAC.

    Is that better? Yes

Well, not so clear sound that many states. Feels like I have focused only on the base ... Had thought they were ok for about 800 SEK, but for 1290 SEK no, absolutely not.

I also have a pair of Creative GigaWorks T20 since before that I think sounds much better.

    * Edit * just bought a pair of Creative T40 and left them back. Oh my goodness what these Creative T40 speakers beat them here by horse lengths. Totally freaking sick of these Z623 may be more popular than the T40. Almost get a stomach ache by thinking about how much difference there is the sound of SEK 600 less.

How the hell can these excuses speakers have this rating?
Dov treble without resolution, muddy midrange and sluggish bass with no connection to what is happening. Games or music.
Bought this vomit when my Creative GigaWorks T3 gave up after almost 4 years.
Luckily I was able to return the garbage and buy a new T3.
The last time I will rely on the rating here.

All of you who espouse this system is either half-deaf or do not know what you are missing out on the T3.
Almost the same price but light years of difference in sound.

    Edit /
The most liked posts do not really think they're good but they give anyway 8 of 10 ????
This system is rubbish. Give the correct rating even if you bought and own shit. It is not automatically good just because you own it.
    All makes felköp.
I did it when I bought this misery.
    Stop misleading others.

I write about my review here altogether. A tip for those of you who are thinking about getting this speaker package. Do not combine with audio circuits in HIFI / Studio class. This speaker package does not seem to be adapted to operate in high fidelity, but to get as much as possible from a "regular" internal audio chip, for example, on a motherboard. First, I gave 3 out of 10 stars, which is considered "fairly bad" in scale. The reason for this was that I plugged these speakers with my Asus Xonar Essence STX. Can point out that there is a very good sound card, one of the best (internal) cards on the market for music listening. But the base was far too brölig, ie stood rumbled more than follow the music. The overall sound was also very colored and unnatural the building through which the treble was complete useless ... Now I moved the sound card to my media server and used my Gigabyte motherboard (with slightly improved audio chip) and it was a major boost! The base ended "bellowing and growling," comes with music instead while the overall sound is more netutral and t.om. treble is clear. So I raise the grade to 7/10 stars instead. Can still conclude that it is not comparable with the HIFI or studio products, but for those who are not so picky or have low budget a great purchase!

Difficult to see that these speakers deserves its high rating (9.03). Quite ok for its price, but just as expected as it is a large gap in sound between sub and satellites. The midrange is very weak (voice and similar sounds good bleached). High notes is quite ok, the sub is a bit too brölig in nature and apply better film than music.

Have not written a few reviews earlier in prisjakt. But after buying homes these speakers, I had to tell you all how really good they are. Bought them for 1299kr on Elgiganten

    PROS
    + Sounds a lot
+ Powerful sound that really fills the entire room.
+ Clear sound, never heard a pair of speakers that play so clear music.
+ Audio and bass controls on the front speakers makes it really easy to get music on your way.
+ Two pieces aux outputs that works perfectly with your headset / headphones anytime.
+ BASE, OMG has never listened to so rich and deep bass. If, like me, like to listen to everything from rap to house music so this package is a must!

    CONS
    -Grannarna;)

No, but quite seriously have nothing bad to write about these speakers.

There is really nothing I can complain about when those speakers have properly with gunpowder itself, which I came to notice when a friend would raise the sound, which was already high, but turned instead basknappen. Is very happy that the windows were :) The base's really what gives life to these speakers when I can not hear any difference to these and a pair of speakers for half the price. Logitech has been driving past and never been disappointed, which I was not this time either. Keep in mind if you intend to buy these speakers to the base unit are very large, so be sure to have room for it otherwise it can get a bit tricky. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Were those when I searched new PC speaker to my laptop. Thinking of Creative's T30 awhile but do not regret the purchase for a second.

THX certified small speakers with the right big sub, considering the best placement of the subwoofer, but the system is playing really well, better than my Creative T20. The subwoofer has elements front reflex port on the left side. No noise yet, knock on wood, and no noise.

Edit: The price is going up again, got my order in 1390: -

Have a laptop and the built-in sound system in it was sucks so I saw this on prisjakt and when I read the reviews there so I was very eager to buy this system. Expectations were fulfilled, I am very happy with this purchase. The sound is great and it is a good pressure in the system without quality deterioration at higher volumes.

When I had the laptop with Windows 10 (p10122) at maximum volume and the speakers in half the volume about as vibrated both floors and walls, and it is hardly so one dare raise the sound more to the whole house will collapse: P Would say that they have more a Out of necessary capacity to cover my audio needs in my enrums 40-kvadratare.

I think the system looks very good. It is easy to connect gadgets. Volume, starter and basvredet is very easily accessible and headphones are very easy to plug into them. It feels as though this equipment is of very high quality, but that I'm some kind of expert.

In sum, I can in good conscience recommend a purchase of the Logitech Z623 2.1 system.

Have had an old Creative 5.1 system installed many years. Now I was looking 2.1 system. After some searching, there were two candidates Logitech Z623 and Corsair SP2500. Corsair has received lots of positive reviews online but costs nearly double. I decided to "settle" me with Logitech. Quality impression is good everything goes into a matte dark gray finish. The satellites have weak gravity and are equipped with rubber feet to stand. I installed them. No problem, very simply because the wiring is minimal with 2.1 systems. David Guetta was launched on Spotify and smile to the face for up to ears. Battlefield 3 also sounds absolutely huge explosions that feels up in the chair. The base is very enjoyable, no jordbävarbas but just right for me. The base can be adjusted with a knob on the right satellite Satellites performs clear sound. By emphasizing treble and slightly less midrange, this can be compensated by Eq. The only minus of this system is that the cables for the satellite speakers are too short approximately 1.8 m.
I had to extend the left speaker cable to get a good placement on my computer desk. The cable of the type RCA and cheap to buy.
Clearly affordable system with clear pass audio to the computer.

    Incredibly priced 2.1 system!
    + Really good sound
    + 'Fine' base
    + Very affordable
+ Headphone and microphone input on the right satellite
    + Not piano varnished
    + Discrete LEDs
    - Has only three entrances & Lacks digital input
    - Slightly oversized base (I have it set to 25%)
    - Satellites shape does not really fit me

Upd: Absolutely incredible that they still cost 1200 SEK, given that I gave it for over three years ago.

Even better sound than its predecessor z2300 (which was a sound system that cost much more and that the paper and the specifications of the techies were better)

Plays loud and bass, despite a decrease to 7 "instead of 8", sounds great.

    Playing deep and incredibly loud.

Then I switched me off the Z5500 to this system, I was still suprised that it sounds so good.

The bass is weak pound good but I've seen several posted that it is comparable to the z-5500 box, you can not.
This is not the same sound quality and breakthrough at high volume which I never manage to get my old sound making.

But a clearly approved 2.1 sound to have at the computer.

I gave 920kr for these. Must say that it is good sound for the money if you do not want an amp or are looking for surround sound. Awesome loud bass and okay sound. Crushers probably most other 2.1 computer speakers, you should have better sound you have to go on a "real" 2.1 system with amplifier. The only thing I can complain about is the background noise that you hear in quiet scenes. It reverberates quite high but I understand it's a common problem with this type of sound system
