Feels a bit like Airpods for me, but it doesn't have to. Until you bought a pair myself, now I can not be without mine ..

Obviously the best purchase for a very long time. I can only agree with all the reviews below. Has greatly improved my reading.

Have graduated me from a Letto Frontlight, the difference is heavenly. Good screen, you can set the light to low enough. Auto rotation and the buttons on one side work clockwise

    4.5 Stars.

++ Screen, high enough resolution with clear text and good contrast. The reading experience will be top.

++ The asymmetrical design with physical buttons fits me and makes it comfortable to hold the plate with one hand.

++ Easy to upload library books and books from Swedish stores (compared to kindle where you have to do a file conversion and remove the copy protection, which is cumbersome and also not allowed). This is the main reason why I prefer Kobo over Kindle, even though Kindle also makes really good reading boards.

+ Automatic correction of natural light (reduces the amount of blue light) as the clock approaches the sleep time you set.

    + Waterproof.

+ - The tablet is in plastic, if you buy the "kobo libra sleepcover" case you get a more luxurious feel, if you think it is important.

    - Some uneven lighting on the unit I have, which is noticed when I read in a completely dark room (It has been discussed in forums where some seem to experience that problem but others do not, different from unit to unit or from person to person thus). However, I do not bother myself significantly, but can imagine that it can be a bigger problem for others.

I am very pleased with the plate that I can highly recommend, it is not perfect but still the reader I think fits my needs best of all the plates on the market. It is affordable even though it is more expensive than many other plates. Over 1000 SEK cheaper than Amazon's equivalent, kindle oasis.

If you don't borrow ebooks from the library, don't want to buy books in Swedish stores and are okay with being locked into Amazon's file format, then Kindle might be a better option. Otherwise, I think that something other than Kindle, such as Kobo, which supports the file format Epub, is the natural choice for most people living in Sweden.

First impression is really good! Fine text, white background. Convenient to hold and quick to browse or navigate the interface.

The lighting is cruel, it can get strong but what's more important to me, it can get really weak so that you can read at night in completely completely extinguished room without disturbing your partner. It also has a blue light filter in the evening which makes it even better. However, the brightness is set manually, not through a sensor.

It was easy to transfer books from the computer. It has Wifi and connects directly to the Kobo store, but I haven't tested it yet.

I have tested EPUB which obviously works super. PDF works, but it cannot resize. You can read A4-PDF as it is high-resolution enough, and it is a bit easier if you put it on the width, but there is nothing I want to do if I can avoid it.

Have also logged in with the library card and it seems to be fine to borrow books directly from the plate, great smooth!
