After 6 months, both controls stopped working. Complained the case to Nintendo who refused to see it as a warranty issue.

Now it's my kids who have handled the controls and how they "abused" the stuff is hard to say. But other things have survived in our home and I can not make any other assessment than that there is very questionable quality of Nintendo's stuff.

    UPDATE:
After 18 months, the unit died suddenly. Completely without warning. Completely stone dead. The product is pure rubbish!

If you see many comments that compare the Nintendo Switch with various consoles that are desktop and suitable for those over 10 years, if you have a console, it is the Switch. Should you have two ..

Be first a little putt that there is no blue tooth without an external adapter but then happy as the threaded cheap headset manages the illiterate mecca there itself and works every time.

Now all 4 joycons are broken / drifting. Maybe update to a better rating if I am treated better this time than last time by Bergsala.

I'm glad Nintendo fixed all the problems, like the original had.

    + Has Nintendo's exclusive games
    - Everything else.

Poor quality hardware, for the money. (Weak CPU / GPU, poor battery life, meh screen, broken controls.

Used daily and love it. What it does not live up to in graphics and game engine, it brings home in agility and wonderful games. Highly recommended!

Don't be fooled, all the games are between 60 and 70 € even used even rotten 3gb games that's nonsense

Many nostalgic games and very easy to play both handheld and stationary, but in the end I used the console 90% handheld.

I think the console is in the most expensive team and I think that bluetooth is a requirement in this price range.

Finally, I'm quite happy, but if the price had been lower, I would have increased the rating by one star.

Very good console. Excellent handling. I've been playing it since Christmas 🎄 and I haven't had a problem. Very fast, fluid, there are a lot of games it's really nice :)
    What happiness!

Really not worth the price for the console or the games. The included "controller" feels like holding a child's toy compared to a real hand control. Handheld position is about as comfortable to hold as a brick. Very limited range of games and especially those that are not either "Indie" or Nintendo's own titles. The games that have been ported to the switch from other platforms look, in my opinion, absolutely horrible even in handheld mode.
The prices for the games are sky-high and almost never move except during major sales. (Zelda still costs just under SEK 600 3 years later) Feels happy to pay for a good game but it feels no better when the same game as Nintendo takes over SEK 500 for costs SEK 200-230 on competing consoles.
Had it not been for BOTW and upcoming sequels, I would have rather bought a PS4 Pro for pretty much the same money.

Too expensive ... Nintendo, do if do right. And please do not blame the pandemic because I bought this for exactly the same price as it is for now before the so-called pandemic. And even then it was too expensive. The same applies to the version where the quality of the controls does not measure up (which applies to this ox). The only advantage to buying this versus the little version is that you can buy new controls once they pie. But even they cost a juicy penny. Incidentally, fun games especially Mario Odessy. Would be fun if Nintendo went digital with their big titles so you could play them on any console. There are hardly a handful of games you want to play from Nintendo. Otherwise, almost all popular titles are available on both PS4 and Xbox. They are a shame that, for example, Mario, Zelda Pokémon would sell like hot cakes if they could be bought on the latter consoles. Not worth pocketing almost 4K to play Mario, Zelda or Pokémon.

Awesome game console, perfect for long trips and other occasions when time needs to be killed :)

Incredibly expensive compared to PlayStation 4 and Xbox. And no, just because it is portable does not justify the price tag. Not directly so that it is twice as high quality compared to the others either. With that said, it is probably the only console that has many children's games that go home, which probably explains the continued high price tag 3 years after the launch ...

Purchased as Christmas ready 2019. It is a really good entertainment machine for the whole family. A big plus, of course, is that it is handheld, which means it can be taken anywhere.

The battery life in this version is almost twice as long as the previous version - welcome as a flight trip often exceeds 3h. It also allows me as an adult to sit and play on the bus both to and from work.

The range of games is relatively good - it may not be as good for AAA titles like PS4 or Xbox. On the other hand, you get really good games like the Mario Games, Zelda etc in the range that is not found anywhere else. A big plus is also that many indie games are ported to Switch, just as they are made for PS4 and Xbox. That means there is plenty of "adult play"!

Had Nintendo's own AAA games been cheaper (never cost below 550 :-) the console would have received five stars. Now the product instead gets a star deduction for the high prices of the games! Think everything Nintendo could at least have 10-20% off at any time a year so you could buy older titles.

Everything that was good about the original model is still good. What stands out as a definite improvement is battery life. The other changes are not as overwhelming - a little better heat generation, some cooler FPS higher in single games, a little different screen tone.

Worth upgrading if you already have the old edition? Yes I think so, but only if the battery life is important. Otherwise, you will not notice the difference.

I think the lack of BT is a bit 1990, but there are sensible adapters to this as well (eg HomeSpot).
