With a price tag of nearly half of what the latest iPad costs, you shouldn't expect anything outstanding - but Samsung disproves the trend that more expensive equals better. Tab A 10.1 2019 is a quality plate that feels premium with its metal design, with an almost "clean" operating system that does what it should.

The biggest shortcoming, which also lowers the grade slightly, is the limited working memory. The storage space is painlessly expanded with a memory card, but with only 2 GB of RAM the system sometimes feels a little stiff. For the price and the general quality offered, this is nothing to hang on to, unless you load the plate with heavier games. For my own part, I enjoy less demanding applications, such as Clash of Clans and various streaming services, all of which float on without irritation.

Recommend the purchase to those who want a tablet that reaps premium, but at a wallet-friendly price.

Got one at work and Android on the flat is really totally useless. Several apps are not customizable and the plate feels chewy and buggy.
iPad is a dream against this!

I bought it for 1690 SEK from Komplett.se, which was a very good price.
    + Android 9.
    + The screen is good.
    - Very expensive accessories.
    - Idiotic placement of the speakers. Unbelievable that you have placed both speakers on
right side where you hold the plate. Of course, they would have been at the top.
    - The sound does not impress.

Bought it to be able to stream hockey matches at the gym, which it works great for. Hard to see that you can get better plate for the money (1790 :-). The only thing I miss is waking / extinguishing with Samsung's original cover. Comparable to Samsung A40 mobile performance in terms of performance.

Good because it has Android 9 and will get Android 10an as well. Not so expensive and it e nice. Works perfectly ok.

If your need is a plate for regular surfing, emailing, streaming of movies and series and access to "everyday apps", then this is the most affordable you can find. It is just fast but not something that impresses. Although you do not need an iPad pro to watch Netflix 😉

Advantages: price, 16:10 aspect ration, battery life, good screen, memory card slot

Cons: only two gigs of frame memory, no fingerprint sensor

For the price 1990: - so I find it difficult to find a better plate. Think it is in performance is on par with iPad 32 GB 2018 but costs almost half as much. What I prefer with Tab A is especially the screen 16:10 which fits much better for media than the iPad's 4: 3 (avoids the thick edges and gets a bigger picture when watching movies). Tab A also has a more stylish design with slim bezel against the thick edges of the iPad, even the home button is removed which is no longer missing. The operating system today I think both iOS and Android work well and I have no problem with either one or the other. The screen on tab A I feel very sharp (resolution and contrast works very well), the plate is fast and responsive and I have not yet noticed any lag, but then I also do not play the heavier games. The disadvantages that exist are that you have peeled off some features that some might like such as auto-brightness (nothing I like), that the plate wakes up when the lid is opened etc. Then there are things that weigh up with eg. Dolby atmos that works cannon, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, usb-c and more. The camera is like most tablets, so there. Think it is much like the iPad's in quality.

Very good tablet. Good battery life, works fast.

A little minus is that many "Premium" features are not supported here. Miscellaneous as Dual audio that other Samsung devices have on devices with bluetooth 5.0, or the ability to unlock device with face or fingerprints. This is not supported and is quite missed for my part.

Otherwise very satisfied. Very smart and good tablet that makes it easy to enjoy streaming / watching movies etc.

2190: - on the net net. Android 9, usb-c and not so much bloatware, most can be uninstalled. The battery lasts a long time. Quite ok mid-range plate for surf and various apps. Missing fingerprint sensor and accessories are expensive.
