Run heavy, games like borderlands 3, ghost reaction, modern warfare, call of duty, battlefield etc. Much faster than TLC, MLC, SLC. Think of earlier posts that this would be an older structure. Certainly the memory is different with this being the latest and fastest technology and guarantees the same life span as all the three types I mentioned earlier.

Has a 1TB samsung TLC for strategy where the same performance is not needed even if the difference is memorable. civ 6, sudden strike 4, men of war 2, tropico 6, xcom 2 etc.

Then have an M.2 970 EVO as system disk, so it rolls on.

Samsung forever when it comes to SSD

NOTE: Don't forget to download samsung magician ---> https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools/

The updated firmware on two of my disks, had I not run it then I had never known. Check firmware, optimize, trim, and more. A must for samsung SSD owner. Free of course.

At least 5 out of 5 for this disk. Extremely satisfied with all 3 but mainly this one.

The memory in this is obviously worse than previous generations. Suitable for storing non-critical data. But will live its life exponentially faster compared to both SLC, MLC and TLC disks.

You probably save more money over time by buying a slightly more expensive SSD with the aforementioned architectures. At least in theory.

Bought it as a storage disk and phased out my last HDD.

Works as well as any system disk if you want
