Bought these because I took over a cheap car without hands-free. Just wanted them lying in that car because I didn't want to cost me anything fixed in that bee. After using the Airpods for a while I think they are absolutely amazing. Now I use them all the time, not just in the bee. Should I buy again I would rate the new ones with noise cancellation, even though they are more expensive. Don't know the hills those with noise cancellation are, but these "cheap" ones are very good.

If you have Siri on the team then this is an unbeatable combo!

Flexibility is the story for AirPods in general. Everything from being connected to the phone as soon as you open the cover (applies to iPhone only) to pausing the music as you remove it from your ears.
Bought mine directly when they came out so have had mine since Christmas 2016. Then paid SEK 1790 and have been satisfied until this spring when the battery has become totally useless. I have about a quarter to twenty minutes to go to the university from where I live and my AirPods don't even halfway. The left earpiece has such poor battery capacity that it gives up if you increase the volume.

This feels really bad when you spend almost 2000 SEK on a pair of headphones, it may be expected but feels worthless anyway.

If you talk more about the headphones in general, it's worth mentioning that the sound quality is not something to hang in the Christmas tree but good enough to listen to podcasts and occasional playlists on Spotify. (Do you think Apple's EarPods that came with the phones from the iPhone 5 sound great then AirPods sounds exactly the same)

It is a pair of agile headphones that have left a bad aftertaste in my mouth after a lot of strul after years of use as a then satisfied customer.

    FREEDOM & DISCRETION!

Bought them just for SEK 1790 (SEK 1430 via the company) 2017-04 having previously had wireless with cable between the shells (Sony SBH70, just the cable I disturbed and it was also the one that always tangled and finally broke) is the top and freedom without cables is best!
However, it gets a BIG minus for not integrating the headphones to drag your finger up and down the side of them to raise / lower the sound (Samsung Gear icon X can do that with theirs)

The price is ok if you compare with others that are wireless, small, without cable and with microphone.
These are the only semi-seashells that I love, you get neither ear nor ear pain! The sound is perfectly ok for music and I use these as my only cheats day in and day out for conversation, music, exercise and jogging. There is no better all-round IOM that the in-ear is not healthy for the ear canal and the on-ear becomes like a DJ who got lost, becomes uncomfortable for the ears and destroys the hairstyle.

However, it cannot connect between two devices at the same time as my Sony SBH70 could. However, these have extremely good reach! Can walk around half the office, about 30 meters away. Perfect for jogging with, not even near that they would roll out. The freedom without cable around / behind the neck is huge!

You can swap to double-click the play / pause worm or answer / end call. But if you want Siri at double click then the possibility of play / pause at double click disappears. In addition, Siri only works if the iPhone has Internet access, which means you can't even increase Siri's volume if you have poor coverage. But even talking to Siri for such basic tasks is nothing you do, so unfortunately it becomes to reach for the phone (quite often) to change the song or raise / lower the volume of calls, which you need to do very often, so that disappears the freedom of wireless.

Otherwise, the battery life is the best, 3-4 days during office work mixed with phone calls and listening. The agile way of putting them down in the shell means that they are always kept loaded when you need them and I often stop them with pure reflex and without problems. So nothing experienced charging here! There are none that are even as good nearby. So I only charge them once a week, just under 2.

They are not as ugly as one might think but perfectly ok, even though the future is probably without the shaft and will only sit in the ear. Rarely hear BT artifacts and not even the background noise, so here's the best layer.

I will be at Apple every month releasing AirPod's Gen 2 (which will definitely have art anyway!). However, it is frustrating now to not be able to control the volume and that play / pause is not always felt. But if you manage to have a cable, then buy a cable with a cable. These are only good as a discreet alternative in the office.

+ Removes background noise and wind very well, something I was worried about IOM not being able to put the microphone behind the scarf or inside the shirt. So the top of Apple!

    CONCLUSION:
Could get 10/10 or 9/10 but now only get 6/10, bright because of the lack of sound controls and the clumsiness of the few commands you can do. So they are not 100% wireless iom that you always have to have the phone close at hand and thus the experience sometimes becomes worse than with cable where you can still keep the mobile in the pocket to control it, but with AirPods you now have to pick up the mobile in the pocket very often. If you like cables between the shells and want better sound then choose something else. But its got the best UI of all, minus the volume control and the play / pause timing.

OPTIONS: The only option for earbuds is Sony's SBH70 (or find something cheap on Amazon), but they have a cable solution that easily breaks and Samsung Gear Icon X which has all controls have really poor battery life and unfortunately in-ear which is not good for the ear canal.
(PS: Will rewrite the ad later, bear with me)

    ----------
    UPDATE (2 MONTHS)
    MINUS:
    - They can't reduce wind, which makes them completely useless when cycling or living in a windy city! With a cord / cable / neckband microphone you can hide the mic under the shirt or scarf, but these are not possible. Big, big, big minus!
    - At more than half of the times they cannot connect to the computer, then I have to restart the computer (on the other hand I had the same problem with Sony, but I have been updating the operating system since then, so something wrong with the BT transmitter in the computer it is probably...)
    - You can't have it connected to two devices at the same time, I did that with the Sony SBH70!
    - It's great to have to tap the seashell to pause / etc, it becomes a very unpleasant thump in the ear. And that you often have to try two / three times before realizing that you really knock on it.
    - The battery runs out quickly during calls, Max 2 hours in a row. Then you have to switch with one handset at a time and charge the other. With the Sony SBH70 you could connect a cable to a battery that you had in your pocket that charged the handsets while you continued talking. But you can't really do that with true-wireless.
    PLUS:
    - Extremely discreet, so nice without cable! (Do you really want a cable so they can hang around your neck, there are cables for 100-150 SEK)
    - The shells never end IOM that you constantly put them in the case that always keeps them charged. On the other hand, they often end up when I talk for longer stretches, so it always ends with me talking one at a time and switching between them while one is charging. However, it is a plus that you can do so, then you always have a worm that works!
= However, the grade 6/10 remains

    Fix audio control (priority 1)
Longer battery life on speech (priority 2)
    Double pairing (prio 3)
Then they get 10/10 no matter the price

Recommended! Good sound, incredibly smooth, good with the tap functions that can be programmed for each ear. Good battery life. Nice!

Only thing I would like to see is a feature so they can give off a sound if you lose a handset. Got turned upside down on the bed a couple of times.

The children have such headphones here and both couples have been on (warranty) repair where they replaced the speaker elements because they stopped working.
It does not instill a great sense of quality. Don't think about fixing them if they break again after the warranty expires.
Especially considering that the sound quality is not something to brag about either. Sounds in my opinion worse (when listening to music) than cheap wired headphones from the car themes.

Really not good sound. Totally incomprehensible ratings of reviewers on certain sites; but it is as usual with Apple - it is a largely sectarian approach to their gadgets.

The only major advantage that airpods actually have against other gadgets of the same type is the ease of use. They have extremely few features and are easy to connect to the phone or computer. However, it often loses connection and is disturbed quite easily.

Of course, they are not worth their price. They are like most of the things that have to do with the company in Cupertino - a status symbol that delivers ok but not at any particularly high level.

You do not buy these for its sound quality but for its flexibility. No matter how easy to carry anywhere, which means I use them every day. Use them mainly to listen to podcasts when I'm out walking or fixing at home and then it's just an advantage not to have noise cancellation. Certainly they could have had better sound, but think it is more than ok sound for what I use these for. Have other headphones when I'm looking for really good sound.

Nice headphones! Only had them for two weeks but are already dependent on them. Had a little trouble with the sound at first, but works well now.

As others also say, I think it's a shame that you can't change the volume of the headphones. Further minus is that they rub in their ears after a while (have quite small ears so can depend on it) and that they are quite expensive.

Have these one year now. Uses them constantly. Cannot rate them by sound as it was not the purpose for me. Uses them for conversations and very many audio books. Always have judgment, both at work and at home when washing, cleaning, night children, carpentry, painting, cutting grass etc. ... Fantastic, best buy I made with a couple minus.

+ Battery life! Charge the case itself once a week, perhaps. Can I do that I never use both the podium but just the right one?
    + Easy to pair.
    + Good fit.

    - Siri is activated half of the time you just take out the plug from the ear, which is annoying.
    - Want to slip out when you get sweaty.
    - The magnets in the case absorb dirt particles and are difficult to clean.

Still recommended to anyone who has Apple and wants wireless lurking, as long as you are not an audio file and only have to lurk to music.

    Appendix 15/2 2019:
The right handset has completely shut off. Unable to connect. Have usually listened to just one at a time so it doesn't do much. It certainly played up around 1000 hours before giving up.

When a company really tries to innovate. When a brand new product sees the light. Then it's good times.

Apple AirPods is just that, a revolutionary product that brings new life habits to people.

It's not perfect, it can be improved. But it is not version 3 of a product to be celebrated, but version 1 that came with something new. And nothing with AirPods is too bad.

What can be improved in the future? One can give the next version of AirPod even better sound. You can extend the battery life further.

But already today they sound really good, especially thanks to the open design that gives unmatched presence. For example, if you look at Youtube when someone is talking, you can sometimes believe that the sound comes from the computer's speakers than from the AirPod you have in your ears. Because they hardly feel when they are in their ears and because the open design gives sound a more realistic presence.

But basically it is an EarPod, you should not forget it. I like EarPod and use them even today, and there is no massive downgrade from AirPods. But the sound is more trapped and the end with EarPods, which also results in more substantial base than AirPod. But EarPod doesn't have a better base according to me.

Regarding the battery life, it will usually work well. But looked at SuperBowl a while ago and then it was quite difficult to have to charge the AirPod in the middle of when the broadcast lasted so long. But charging goes very fast. And as long as you have the charging case at hand, everything is quiet. So really no problem I think. Having always disturbed me on people who think super easy quick things are problems, I prefer to focus on what can be greatly improved, what really was a problem, rather than investing in fine tuning details.

So I recommend these. Mainly for Mac, Apple TV and iPhone. Not Apple devices I haven't tested them properly along with. Wants better support for Xbox One, but Bluetooth is not compatible with Microsoft's Xbox strategy.

Very expensive considering that the sound is highly mediocre.
Functional but looks a little ridiculous when sitting in the ears.
Rattles easily during activity such as running and gym.
Good conversation sound during mobile calls but a reasonable price is around 500 SEK.
There are kids who are both smoother, better looking and have better sound for under the thousand fold.

    Wow!

Want a pair of headphones that are easy to carry everywhere my P7 Wireless is a bit clumsy.
What do you get from Airpods?

-Sound. Sound-wise, you will never come to the same class as a pair of "sound-focused" headphones, but the sound in them is better than regular Apple headphones that you connect with cable. Are you just looking for very good sound so check out something like P7 Wireless, but these are cruel for the price.

-Fit. I was worried that they would go out, which they surprisingly do not. They sit better than expected, but at the same time it hardly feels that you are wearing them. If you compare this with traditional "In-Ear" that plugs the ear again, this feels much better. My Apple lurks with cable going out, but think it depends on the weight of the cable, these don't.

-Technique. These are packed with technical features. The Proximity Sensor that senses if the headphones are in or is not amazing. If you take out a handset, music / video is paused automatically and switched on when you put the handset back on. The sensor is also connected to a "double tap feature" which allows you to double-tap the earphone to activate Siri or change this in settings to answer / add calls.

-Batteritid. You can listen to music for 5 hours on a charge. However, the battery charges up to 24 hours extra via the charging case and quite honestly how often do you listen more than 5 hours at a time? If you put the handset in the charging case, you charge about 3 hours in 15 minutes, ie it is very rare battery is a problem.

-Connection. The connection works as it should via Apple's devices, I have them connected to the iPad, iPhone, Macbook Pro and iMac and switching between them works flawlessly. However, I have still had some trouble connecting them to Apple TV, but should try to "mecca" a little with this again. The first installation is easier because of Apple's W1 chip and makes you not have to go into the settings on the mobile to set the headphones. However, you must do this on other devices. Once you have connected the headphones, you choose to play for them via the "Airplay function" (on the back there is a Bluetooth pairing button)

-Fodralet. Wow. Apple knows how to think. Everything in this small package has a magnetic function in order to easily open / close the case and insert the headphones. They "correct themselves" through magnets that sit in. It's nice to hold on, but is something you expect from Apple nowadays. You load the case through regular Lightning connector. I have also dropped the case without it being a single scratch.

-Mikrofonen. Everyone I talked to reacts to that sounds good, so it sounds better than talking through the phone. Each headphone has its own microphone and closes out background noise, which minimizes background noise and makes your voice sound better.

-Find my iPhone. You can also find the headphones via this function.

-The only drawback is the demand, if you go through the dealer you have to wait very long since I had to wait 6 weeks when I ordered them via apple.se

Are you looking for a headphone that is not "in" the ear and something that is easy to take with you daily without the appearance of hearing protection. Look no further! Incredibly pleased with these. Over Praised? No, you get an incredible amount of technology for the money. However, you can probably find better sound for the money, but then you do not get the other "self-explanations". If you have an Apple Watch, it is even easier to control volume, change track etc etc.

Skeptical to these and then the price of it.
But after I tested a acquaintance, I am completely sold.
So the price is ok, given what you get and the convenience.

    Paid 1500 for my.

Always had regular threaded naps / headsets.
    But now about 3v later.

    So fucking happy.
Secondly, the sound is very good.
    Micen works flawlessly.

Smooth with auto-pause of music when popping out of one ear.
Load the pods when they are in the case.
Find in "find my iphone" if you were to wreck them.
Two buttons on one pod, so siri is activated, so you can control the phone via siri.
And above all comfortable for me.

So those who hesitate to see if you can test someone's etc, then you'll have to consider whether it's worth the money or not, for me, it's not a snack about it, even if it's a lot of money for a student.

+ Extremely practical, easy to bring and go quickly into any pocket
+ No cords or wires attached to the collar when you turn your head (looking at your BT plugs with a cord behind the neck)
+ Fairly decent sound in terms of size, price and functionality. Gets better sound on plugs without BT of course. Much better than EarPods, both in terms of bass but also generally across the range.
    + Lightweight
+ Fits well in my ears, after almost 1.5 years, never fell out even during hard workouts and running
+ Good battery life and charge (about 5 hours, 4 times in the case and almost fully charged after only 15 minutes in the case!)
+ Magnets in the case that put them in place so they leave flawlessly every single time
+ Do you have an iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch so they connect easily every single time. With all but Mac, they are only eaten and connected and ready immediately. If you put them out and put them in the case, they immediately get rid of them. One connection is enough, they are synced with all your Apple devices ready to go.
+ sensors that allow you to change song and use Siri. And that automatically pause the music when you remove a plug from the ear .. and restart it when it is put into place. One can also use one and a stopper if desired.
+ good sound for conversations, like microphone in both stoppers, they change depending on noise around. Make sure these are preferred by me in a job context!
+ both stoppers are 'master' so many other wireless are not. Many wireless are built so that only one plug is master and without it none of them works. Many other plugs also require that you physically switch the plugs on after use.

    - Saves some noise from the outside, nice to know .. no dealbreaker. Expect approx. same or slightly less external sound than regular earpods.
    - No noise reduction (chip picking course of course ... the closest competitor costs twice)
    - Requires lightning charger. This is a plus for now, but in the future I would like to see both these and iPhone switch to USB-C.
    - No volume controls on the actual plugs. I often place the buttons on the phone in my pocket, or with Apple Watch .. but could be easier with touch wipes on the pages like my Sony WH-1000X.
"The sound could have been even better .. but it would probably give rise to the price as there is already so much tech to find here. Seeing that all competitors with better (and some with inferior) sound are significantly more expensive .. although they have inferior tech and functionality as well.

The complete experience here makes the plugs get a full kitty of me, despite the problems mentioned above as much of it's tile. The plugs work so seamlessly and well if you own Apple products from before. Think I can go as far as to say that this is possibly one of the best (and thanks to the processor in each plug with good connectivity) and most innovative from Apple for a long time. Those who give this product bad criticism have not tried to live with them for a few weeks .. for one thing, one can say that listening to music without any kind of hassle has never been easier.

Very smooth napkins that are perfect when you need to talk on the phone with busy hands, such as at work or at home during parental leave with children in my arms.

Synopses well and as it should. Of course, it is sometimes strangled once or twice or is a bit slack. It is said that it will connect in a couple of seconds and start connecting directly when removing them from the shell. It usually works, but sometimes it may take 10 seconds, which is a bit annoying when answering a call but no obstacle.

Outstanding battery life! Do not charge them basically when I'm just using a nap when I'm talking. Every nap is enough for about 5 hours, so when one has been charged several times and the battery's battery is over, I'll have another charge in my left hand lap. Good weeks for me!

The only downside is that they are completely useless to listen to music / pod / radio etc unless you sit in a quiet room. Talking on the phone goes well but when I want to disconnect totally with some soundproofing (eg on the gym or the bus) I have to take a few other in-ear naps (optoma be3 sport).

Bought AirPods in spring 2017 when they were launched. In one year I replaced my naps 3 times due to various problems, including the naps dramatically dropped volume with 50-90% reduction. Exploits probably 1-2 hours a week with different troubleshooting issues, including resetting them, restarting computer, factory reset etc. - they probably use 10-12 hours per day, which is probably above average, but it also follows some headaches.

AirPods are unfortunately an unstable product, especially if used with Mac and not just iPhone (for iOS, they generally work well). The most common problem is that the Bluetooth signal from computer or mobile usually drops the dialog with the tricks, which is a software failure. Then you can factory reset the device and possibly the Bluetooth module on the computer.

I generally like the functionality and the sound in them, but unfortunately, it's time to wait a while before Apple gets the software ready. The Mic quality for recording on Mac is also _very_box (SCO instead of AAC) where I hope for an improvement in the future.

Airpods sold out in several places - new version is possible on time? It began to end in October 2018 around Europe and now in Sweden.

What has happened to other Apple products has now been done with AirPods, it's over at most suppliers, and the store says they're on their way, delivery issues or new versions are probably going on? New W2 Chip or Wireless Qi Charging Plate with New Charging Scale or Out of stock.

Although it was too late for Christmas 2017, maybe Apple's way of creating needs, as Iphone and other Apple parts have become 20-50% more expensive ... well, we'll have to see Christmas 2018 if it's "Same as last year .." .. old airpods 1 "!

Totally OK fools at a high price.
I have had the fools for a couple of months and use them daily to talk on the phone and listen to music, there are a couple of very easy-to-use naps that are easy to bring and have good battery life but they could have better fit and wireless charging.

    Positively:
Quick connectivity to the mobile (automatically without having to manually connect through BT)
Quick features when removing the naps / nap from the ear or when you "lose" on a nap.
    Battery life.
Smooth and fast to put the napkins in the charging case with magnets.

    negative:
The charging case is scratched quickly, recommends that you purchase a protection.
No wireless charge. (probably in the next model)
Easy to get rid of, they are so small that they get hard to find if you drop them in public transport or similar.
The fit is no height, has lost my number several times.
    The price.

Embarrassing, Apple! Like iPhone X, the price is completely insane for what one really gets. Sound ok but if you are not already stuck in Apple's iOS ecosystem, I can not recommend them. No, unfortunately, innovation with Steve Jobs at Apple and when competitors get into an ecosystem that works, Apple becomes insignificant.

These had been BEST ... about:
1 - they fought their ears without tearing out at the slightest movement
2 - They were handsome and did not look like it ran out of the ear
3 - They worked seamlessly for other operatives than iOS
4 - They sounded as good as, for example, Samsung's Icon-X (no they dont)
5 - People heard just as well via mic as on (see 4) or other quality-in ears
6 - You could store music locally in them (see 4) and bypass iTunes
7 - They took the price and scaled most of Apple's profit (about 70%) and then sold them with all the criteria above.

    Summation:
A 300-ing are they ... maybe worth ... if you have ears they're left in, but the odds are bad at it. Otherwise, I'm going to run foam rubber and make sure they are comfortable and sure I've tested with the original with string and these are just as "good". If you do not find that price, do not waste it or buy something that works out of the box.

Sure they cost a little, but easier fools than these are hard to find. Simplicity and good sound make buying a pair.

Price: Same as other wireless plugs in this layer. This is a little different from Apple, which often has a "premium tax" on its products.

Sound: Feared that they should have the same sound as Apple Earpods, but these have much better sound and I notice things I have not heard before in my music.

Design: Magnets make sure that they fall into place in the drawer, and they are charged fairly quickly to provide a few minutes of sound again. Simple bluetooth pairing, which even grandmother can get. Pairing syncs on to all other Apple devices one has, so they need one not set up once. The case and the stoppers can withstand a lot, including falls on both asphalt and in water. The design has the industry copied now, two years after they came, and it says well. Check Huawei Honor, HBQ i7S, Hoyat, Samload ++

    Other stuff:
    - The plugins can be retrieved via "Find My iPhone" service, if lost. This is assumed to be within Bluetooth range. The iPhone usually knows where you last had them, and thus approx. where they were lost.
    - Music / podcast stops automatically if one removes one of the plugs from the ear and continues when reinserted.
    - If the lid on the case is open, the battery / charging status for both cases and plugs will automatically appear on iPhone.
    - Works great for phone calls.
    - Functions that swap song, previous / next, and Siri can be configured individually for each of the stoppers, which are used to "tapping" them twice when they are in the ear.
    - Available in just one size, so they are not for all ears.
