Think it is a really good camera for a pretty cheap money. Compared to my other action comrades that are of cheaper variant (read: <1000 SEK) without anti-shake, it is like night and day. It gives good picture and works well under water. The microshakes are gone and with a higher frame rate it becomes much softer. It is well in hand, I also think. The fact that it is possible to lock the buttons on the underwater housing for on / off and record so that they are not accidentally pressed is good.

The only thing that I experience as a little negative sometimes is that it does not have the "gopro" bracket. So for every accessory I have for the earlier action chests, I have to screw on a small adapter with screw. This solution I think is the same as the screw can go up and you risk losing the camera if it is a bit stubborn, which it can be with an action room. But it may be that my adapter is poor, because the screw is quite short on the adapter so it only locks with 1-1½ turns. But I'd rather have seen that it was the hinge bracket that most other manufacturers use with a through screw, which makes it almost impossible to drop it from the bracket.

At the same time, it is good that it has a screw mount on the camera so that it can be attached to a stand without having the underwater housing on or need for any extra holder that you cannot carry with it. So I would like to give the camera 9.5 the grade because the screw bracket is both positive and negative.

Excellent diving camera! Uses this with head mount BLT-UHM1 to attach the side of my dive mask and works clockwise.

The camera comes with optional setting for better color reproduction underwater, works super! Even the stabilizer does its job excellent!

The included waterproof shell is also super! Works fine all the way down to 40m.

Affordable! Handy! Good video quality! Definitely recommended! There is no idea to buy GoPro with these on the market. Better video quality for lower price. With a 10kr adapter, it can also be used with all GoPro accessories.

Really good camera with cruel stabilization function.

The camera has three points that make it really rate the competitive position against other action cameras.

    1. Image stabilization is really good. The stabilization may not be something for professionals, but for me as a normal user easier movie editing process significantly. The recording angle also becomes smaller with stabilization active, the fish-eye effect will be less. There is no need either stabilize or crop text in the editing. Just to cut, dub and post on YouTube. :)
    2. The picture quality is awesome! You may really get all the image sensor can deliver if you want. I can imagine that it is good for semi-pros to set 50.000Kb / s in the recording, but be prepared to eat the camera memory card as if it were candy if you choose this mode :)
    3. Audio Recording quality is outrageously good. With underwater house becomes quiet, which is expected.

(4.) Actually not an advantage, more a requirement:
At last, underwater shell a flat glass. So now it goes to film under water and good image. Finally SONY in the underwater game again! It took the SONY 3 years (!) To solve this problem nonsense!

I actually have no direct negative to say about the camera but I can imagine that Sony will release a splash resistant variant similar AS200 in a year, as they have done with previous cameras. In addition, the camera is not in 4K, which pro-level might be a minus, but for the normal user, I see no problem in it.

Cruel camera with good image. Having used both for downhill skiing and diving (18 m). Completely hassle. The battery lasts a few hours of skiing.
With the camera in the accompanying house sound disappears almost completely.
Super good ... With GoPro 1/4 thread, adapter fits even in the GoPro mounts which there are more than the Sony. The quality is according to me better than GP
