After a couple of years of use, I can say that this works OK for computer games with the poles over Discord, but not much more. Better to pick up cable vibration and dry lips than you actually say. Not worth the price anywhere.

Do not believe what people say about external sound cards here and there, it has no effect whatsoever on the quality of the microphone. The sound is casual, simply. Not to mention the constant humming that goes through the signal if you use some form of "boost" through its sound card - which is a necessity, moreover, without pushing up the microphone by 20+ dB, there is no tamejfan anyone who will hear a crazy piss of what you say.

Used for about a year now with Creative X7 external sound card and Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro 600 Ohm.

Works fine to talk when you play (usually drive through Discord), but if you want to record voiceovers and the like, you may well go further and fix a proper studio.

Overhajpadpad and animals for its function. Buy a headset (type HyperX Cloud II) if you are on a strict budget.

Perfect mic to use a pair of headphones that do not have the mic from the beginning. This allows you to have headphones with higher quality and at the same time to make it work as a headset.

The extra cord is a little annoying. One gets the clamps which combine the cord with the cord of the headphones, but you drive with it so the mic is no longer portable in the same way. That is, you can not take it off and put it aside anymore without removing any clamps.

Pure sonically it works well enough in my opinion. Make your own judgment by watching youtube clips.

NOTE. I'll drive the microphone in an external USB sound card. According to the people who run it directly into the motherboard, it can roar part. So it can certainly be worth buying a cheap USB sound card with microphone.

Enjoy lurking but no mic? BUY! This mic is perfectly durable and good sound.

Clearly better sound with this microfon than other HS according to friends of ts / skyp / mumble etc.

However little overcharge may I say .. certain to get some extra things and a nice box ..

Very pleased with Modmicen. Using it with my Sennheiser RS-170 I would not like to replace and my previous Logitech table mic caught up too much of the sound around, which apparently many tables pickups do.

Also used with Asus external sound card (Xonar U3) and being told "you have to lower the volume of your mic, you will sound good compared to everyone else!". Taking it as a good rating :)

    minus:
    - Slightly pricey.
    - Cable (want a wireless version).
    - The cable tangles

Combined this product with my Beyerdynamic DT 990 headphones. Managed to get the audio cable into the microphone all the way down inside the spinning TRS cable to the headphones. Used all cable ties at neck height where the wire was not twisted and all this fit surprisingly well together. The glue on the magnet bracket without awkwardness on the outside of the covers and the positioning of the microphone head placed just after my wishes. Easy to change position when idle, just pull out of the solenoid bracket and replace notch.

Unfortunately, I ran into a big problem with the microphone, this roared something so terrible in including voice calls over Skype. During recording, you can of course remove it with various program settings and the sound is otherwise more than approved. In comparison with HyperX II headsettet allows this microphone slightly sharper and more sterile to me.

Well, probably hear this problem for ASUS motherboards (meager built-in sound) then the noise could be heard from another computer with the more expensive Asus card. Tested in both Skype and Audacity with all possible settings in the boost / sensitivity and the latest Realtek drivers installed. The solution is said to be a USB adapter, but this is nothing personally, I intend to spend my money on. Returned to my ModMic Complete and replaced it with an honest table microphone that works without any problems.

In relation to the price tag, but an ASUS motherboard (?), So I can recommend this product. It is a smart solution, but be prepared to add an adapter on the list.

I think they have slightly different preferences on the "good sound". To be honest, it's very little that separates this 595kr mic from a 29,90kr mic at Clas Ohlson. Feels too hyped. Sure, it works, but do not count on being able to use it to record any material with high quality, it is just too poor to justify the price.
