My first wide-angle zoom. Had it first on an A7RM1 but then got the A7RM2, where it has perfect balance on the camera.

The lens body is in metal and the backlight cover is partly in metal with luxuriously frayed inside.
The zoom circuit goes heavy, soft and muted (not slow).
The focussing ring goes just right, at the few occasions you need to use it.

I am very pleased with the picture quality. At 16mm you can dazzle down to f / 16 to get sharp from corner to corner. But at several focal points, f / 11 works just fine. If you are close to things you can use f / 4 for blurred background and still have sharp in the middle of the picture

+ The building quality is really absolute top class
+ Very good picture quality and sharpness 16-28mm
+ Perfect balance on an A7RII
    + Affordable used (7500-8000kr)

    - Slightly worse sharpness 28-35mm
    - Something expensive today new

Very nice. Razor sharp on A73. A little softer at 35 mm but good even there a little dimmed.

Very good wide-angle zoom, the best I tested the Sony / Canon. Very good between 16-28mm, quality drops slightly to 35mm, but I also FE35 grade. Somewhat pricey, but I took the opportunity when it was on promotion.
