Just like in Wii parties, you can only play with Wii remotes because you sometimes keep them vertically and sometimes horizontally. You can change difficulty levels and give some extra stars to those who are not so good yet. Fun game!

Disappointed that you can only play with the Wii-motes even with the Wii U controls or Wii U Pro.

Is a very experienced Mario Party player and played the series frequently since the first game. That is the reason of potientialen as previously outlined below I will be critical to the game. But I start with some plus.

+ Includes a couple of tidbits minigames
+ The graphics in HD (the first time, but it was certainly obvious)
+ Bowser Party where you can be 5 people, this provides a few hours of pure joy with friends (but would have preferred more games and tracks as this is extremely limited)

    Now for the critical.

    1. The game can be played with the Wii-motes! Lo and behold! You can not use the Wii U controls for the Wii: un! You can not use the gamepad or the Pro Controller. Play with friends? Hold when four wii-motes. (The best mario party uses standard gamepads ...)
    2. None of the best mini-games from the past are still present, discard them too! It can not be too many games ... Give us classics like Shy-Guy Says! Watch and learn of Mario Kart which, besides new tracks (in a large amount) adds with selected classics from yesteryear.
    3. You want to have individual pieces in Party mode where you do not sit in the same "car". It does so again in this game. This game series is stupefying and worse and worse.
    4. Lacking even the more traditional large courses where the sense of adventure and strategy actually was a feature of the game.
    5. Amiibo support available. But the way it is implemented, it is rather a tedious elements than anything that elevates the experience. You have to constantly put their Amiibo against a specific point on the gamepad (Whatever it actively used in addition to Bowser fashion) to roll the dice! You become very tired of this after a short while, I promise.
    6. Lacking completely and keeps online support. No game with friends or challenge new people on the internet. This despite the fact that the game is based on the will be more players.

I have my habit still bought the game on release day and played it quite a lot. I've had fun with it. But life becomes shorter than usual. The older Mario Party games we play the still. But this is probably nothing we return to about five to ten years away.

Finally: Nothing bad game. Absolutely fine. But it bothers me that the game could have been so much better if they just thought about the above six points. Sometimes you wonder what Nintendo is doing ... So much potential ... wastat!

This was my first Mario Party. Think it's a blast when there is more.

Can not compare to previous versions.
