Had bought a Blue Yeti if I could, but then it crashed economically and was in a hurry, so where was this? Do not be dissatisfied but know that Yeti'n sounds a bit better! Sure, Snowball sounds better than most gaming headsets out there I would say, but it also takes up much more space haha! Want to talk about this video that made my Snowball sound a lot better! https://bit.ly/2vGnUaz

Affordable and good microphone that fulfills the requirements I have at the computer. It's a big improvement from the headset microphones I've tested before, and USB connection is much more reliable than 3.5 mm connectors. Very easy installation (plug and play), and the only thing you need to consider is to place it pretty close in order to get the maximum noise level of the receiver. The only negative is that it picks up a lot of background noise, so it is not optimal if it happens a lot around where you sit.

Good sound, significantly better than a cheap laptop and headset microphones.
Unfortunately, the volume would be too low - basically you have to hold it in your hand and speak directly into it to reach the same volume as other microphones.

The microphone provides a nice natural sound also allows the volume perceived as low - cheaper microphones provide a "sharper" / rougher sound that makes it easier to upfatta speech.

Savings on everything from music to voiceovers ... Highly recommended

Only "bad" is that it does not have a mute button.

Ovärt purchase whether to use it as a microphone but a "microphone amplifier".

The microphone picks up sound unbelievably bad if you do not sit and talk directly into it.

I had it on the table 20 cm from the face (of arms), and people asked again and again what I said.

Left back and got myself a headset instead.

Okay that podcast microphone worse as vocal microphone. The sound is good for the price, though!

Good mic for good price. The downside is the size, but if you can live with it so it's a given purchase

The microphone is good once it is detected by Windows but it does not always work, I connect it directly to the computer found it never. I connect it to the USB hub in the monitor so found it occasionally. Have an Asus motherboard in your computer, do not know if that makes a difference. Got it changed once the warranty.

For the money you pay, you would as well be able to buy a video game, a new keyboard or perhaps a new computer mouse, but you will be hard pressed to find as much "bang for your buck" as this! We're talking about a high quality, amateur - professional microphone with a perfectly acceptable price tag, and the single "amateurish" USB connection. This microphone can be used for everything from YouTube videos, Skype and everything in between! Obviously there are better options, perhaps even at a cheaper price tag, but as a former friend of several successful Youtubers that varies between 20,000 - 4,000,000 million followers, I know how incredibly popular this "amateur microphone" is and how many people started his career with this cheap, but incredibly surprisingly well-performing microphone from Blue.

For Skype: Not as good as a headset microphone.
For recording of Podcast / Other: Perfect.

You should NOT have this microphone placed far from you, but you should use it to speak directly into it (from 20cm).

If you use a good pair of headphones and not want to use a headset for example Skype, I recommend instead "Modmic".

This microphone is designed for use by musicians, YouTubers, podcaster, etc.

It works well, but you hear keyboard sounds and mouse sounds. Buy a tripod, it works! Or you can just make the mic stand and even a desktop lamp

    Good:

    -Good sound
    -Sturdy stand
    -Looks good
    -Picks up sound far from
-Three modes with the switch on the back
    -Long cable

    Worse:
-It picks up all the sound in the room, therefore the kind of thing that fans become annoying.
    -Expensive with shock mount

As previous review, I think it's an awesome microphone, using it not for music, but for most Skype when I do not like the microphones on headsets but want that little extra!

Awesome affordable microphone. Have used it both to record podcasts and music (guitar and vocals) with surprisingly good results. Very happy considering that it is a Plug and Play USB mic! Sticker additionally out where it stands on the shelf!
