easy enough to install. bolts through the motherboard to a bracket that you fit on the back so youll probably have to pull motherboard out to install.
    VERY effective at cooling.
Its a large unit. check the dimensions of your case before buying.
bit disappointed by the noise. Far from silent. i was hoping and expecting way less noise. at low fan speeds its ok-ish. When its wound up its loud.

Excellent CPU cooler for beginners! Definitely a great place to start if you are unsure (like I was). The only little problem with this cooler is the bracket that mounts it to the motherboard, it allows the cooler to twist very easily while you are try to hold it down and tighten the screws on the back of the mobo. . . how ever this is a minor detail.

It's a bit big, but definitely a great cooler, running in push pull on a overclocked 3570K. Temps never go over 60C.

this is a great heatsink, its like 5mil away from my ram and gpu, so it just fits, it comes with a second fan addon too to make it extra quiet and temps are low as i ever had it on a non watercooled pc.

Been hyper 212 for 12 years. Super cooler for small money. The old version was a hell of a fit but the new clip-on solution for the fans made it all smoother.

Achieved personally 21% OC to 4.1 Ghz on my Ryzen 5 2600

    + Stable cooling
    + Quiet
    + Cheap
+ Bracket for two fans included
    - Wrong installation

= For the price you will find nothing better.

The AM4 only mount so the air blows up

Great good Processor cooler, which cools extremely well and is almost cluttered. The supplied cooling paste works well and is easy to apply. As for the installation of the processor on the processor itself, it may be a bit bumpy, but there are several good mounting videos on Youtube that show you how to perform the installation in the best / easiest way.

Good and cheap for an unlocked i5 8400. The fan sounds as much as the computer's other three 120mm fans so nothing really bothering.
In the top of the game, it's rather the graphics card that can get started unless you have a super-expensive card, as it may be the cpun that is called on (especially if the cp is overclocked)

Could install without removing mobo in a fractal define mini c

The manual may be a bit difficult, so please check the steps that concern you. Some steps apply to both AMD / Intel

Say the same as the other positive reviews here. But the installation instructions were a bit difficult to understand. Remember to look carefully at the images of the installation wizard. I missed changing the cliff so it fits the intels socket. Stuck for half an hour and angry and turned before I understood how to do.

This is probably the best cooler you can buy for 250kr. I have used both the scythe and noctua CPU coolers earlier and as long as you do not have to watch the CPU this is enough enough.

    + low noise level
    + good cooling
    + cheap
    + fits most CPUs
    + good size

-the bit difficult to install, cut me a couple of times during assembly.

Have used this CPU cooler since 2013 when I started building computers. Unbeatable performance relative to price.

    + Price
    + Performance
    + Appearance
    + Sound level
    + Installation

Do I have to say something minus about this cooler, it may be a little rough around the edges. Just be careful, you're fine!

Lastly built a budget computer with G4560 and GTX 1050. The typical CPU cooler that came with the processor was far too loud for my taste. For fun, I would test Prime95 1h with both original coolers and this one.

OEM cooler: Idle 30 degrees. 100% load: 55 degrees.
    212 EVO: Idle 25 degrees. 100% load: 42 degrees.

Has it on my ry 5 1600 system, motherboard: B350-F. It was not easy to mount it, you have to buy the Cooler Master AM4 kit (RR-AM4B-H212-S1). Available on komplett.se.

Right now I'm 30 degrees idle, at load for about 3-4 minutes with the aida64 program I will not be over 50 degrees.

    Has not overclocked yet.

Yes, what can one say? It cools my 2600K @ 4.8Ghz in a define R4 with all the noise attenuation left in the chassis and fans running in the middle position. But I've been lucky in the silicon lottery. At the same time, the cpun reaches about 80c under the heaviest load. But have never passed this during gambling. For 250, it's probably not getting better. So if you want better cooling, you will pay more, which I would possibly do if I built a new jar. 5Ghz + might be difficult with this cooler but clearly good price / performance for those who do not aim at absolute peak levels with their overclocking.

    Love it!
The largest cooler I have ever seen, very nicely packaged with all screws and the radiator pasta in a separate plastic pouch.
Also easy to install, just to access the back of the motherboard.
The price is ridiculously low considering what you get imo ...

Seems to keep the CPU cooled to around 27 degrees during ideling ... However, two debris fans at 36 DB ... So it feels like it can handle much more. CPU: Intel Core i7 4790

    Updating a year later:

Very affordable, thermal Pasten that are included seem to be really good. Idlar still 27-28 degrees despite an overclock of 4.2 GHz. BUY!

    Very cooling for money!
Replaced the stock cooler which stood at 90 degrees under load. It felt quite unsafe so I bought 212 Evo. Now the temperatures higher than 60 degrees when the processor is also overclocked, while being quiet.

Stingy in to the CPU cooler to my last computer building and was going to give this a chance when many spoken so warmly about it.
Noctua has always bought before and I regret that I am stingy in retrospect.
It is good for the low price but I think it is worth spending money on a quality cooler.
    Ungainly setup.

It is unreasonable to compare one this cheap cooler that actually performs quite well against more than twice as expensive Noctua course, but feels worth mentioning.

+ Good cooling for very little money.
+ Reasonable quality for so little money.
    - Poor quality of assembly details.
    - Poor fitting solution compared to the more expensive and better cooler. Noctua playing in a league of its own there.

Replaced my original Intel cooler against this to overclock.
From 3.5 Ghz to 4.7 Ghz on my i7 2700K and the highest load will be 73 ° C. Idle about 43 ° C. Actually think it is ok considering how cheap it is and how high I've clocked CPU. Note: after about 2 months started my fan emit a störigt humming sound compared to the 3 second chassis fans I have. Just ordered 2 Noctua 120mm PWM fan to the radiator, for push-pull cooling instead.

A little complicated to install, but after all it was my first build, so I'm inexperienced. Cools good, but not perfect I think. 38 ° C on an idle 4690k and about 50 ° C in the load. I should not complain, I'm very happy anyway!

For a quad-core Intel processor with TDP up to 84W, so will this cooler do wonders. Allows you to get a very good overclocker, while the temperatures are kept under 72 degrees in Prime95, which is my pain threshold for 24/7 operation. Surprisingly quiet! Brands not when the system is idle, and scarcely more audible when running on full. A marked difference from the previous model, Hyper 212 Plus. Only slimming is a very cumbersome installation. Recommended!

Bottom Standard Screws not fit even to the Asus Socket -775, probably a size too small. Had to send back to NetOnNet. Waiting procedure svar..2 weeks have passed no reply ... Got the call and got the money back ..
The size was also surprisingly large. Should have checked the size before I order den..Även if there are screws that fit do not know how long the motherboard can support the weight ..

Was bought for 199: - SEK, cools my Intel i5 4670K very good despite överclockad @ 4.4 GHz, idle temperatures 24-45 C (Inside a Fractal Design Refine R4 with two chassis fans).

Quiet it is also, the fan rarely go above 1000 RPM during normal work, often stays around 700 RPM. At the extraordinary hard work, like converting high definition video with the x265 in VidCoder it goes up to 1600 RPM and temperatures above 65 C, but far from dangerous hot.

    + Very cooling for money
+ Space for up to two pieces 120 mm fans
+ Heat pipes made of copper.
+ Fairly quiet even at hard labor.
    + Thermal interface follows with

    - Complexity installation (needed help from my brother to get it in place)
    - Unclear instructions, with very small images in a large patch of a language on each tab.
    - Takes part place if you do not have low-profile drives.

Edit: After a number of months, it seems that the CPU fan is broke down. Although easy to change but it makes a whining sound regardless of speed now.

Mounted it on a Core i5 4670K (1150 motherboards LGA) to the Intel stock cooler started making noise with time.
The result was really good especially with the low price tag of åtanken. The aim was primarily to bring down the noise level, which it did, but an unexpected bonus was that I could clock up the CPU from 3.8 GHz to 4.4 GHz without problems.
Overclocked under load is just over 40 degrees. Almost tempted to test the clock up further, but since this is an office computer so is quiet and cool after all more important factors than extra speed.
The actual installation required some patience, but a quick search on YouTube, it went relatively smoothly ... much easier than to decrypt the supplied manual! : D
What pulls away last star is partly the somewhat complicated assembly, which is probably a side effect of the fan's wide compatibility with different sockets + CPUs, and that the size of the entire rig was larger / bulkier than expected (yes, I know, the dimensions were listed on by hand). But it did, after all, place, albeit barely, in my BitFenix Prodigy box.
Thumbs up for a very affordable product!
