My grandmother is looking at purchasing a bang for the buck tv for her lounge, between 40-42 inches. Is the Veon brand any good as it is pretty cheap and the specs are rubbish compared to big brands?

Well a good rule of thumb is that you pay for what you get, however unless your grandmother will actually notice a difference then it'll likely be fine if she is on a budget. I don't personally have any experience with them, though.

Grandma laughs at your inferior TN panels, sporting her brand new OLED 4k 144Hz Samsung that she also uses for quick skoping 1v1 me u noob.

So yeah, definitely get her a top brand tv. *cough*

I wouldn't recommend Veon. They have had well publicised problems in the past with TV's catching fire. Of course that is an extreme case, but it probably reflects the overall build quality. I would say she is better off paying a little bit more for a brand that will stand behind its products. Panasonic is a good example.

Even though your grandma probably won't see the difference, ast current pricing I would spend 480 on a 40" panny in that price bracket https://pricespy.co....t.php?p=2798220
