Hi roxnsox,
Below are the links I found (and I looked hard) to the best 'compare' sites, I used, to choose the Sony DSC-TX5 over the Panasonic DMC-FT1 (and FT2). I am fussy and both are very good 'all-weather' cameras. The Sony pipped the Pani for movie 720p and stills in low light, no flash. Pani for bright day stills, maybe, just. Format type conversions (DVD making or resizing for web or email uploading) are easy with a PC anyway so those don't matter with the right software (MPEG4, MOV etc). Roughly 1 hour 720p movie per 8GB Capture card. Get at least a class 6 SDHC card though, any brand, upload to PC sooner rather than later. See SDHC info link:

For your Camera choises roxnsox, see these 3 links: (join 1. as all one long link)

Get the Excelent Panasonic DMC-TZ7. It was my finding before I decided a 'tiny all weather' camera was best for mountain biking! Good luck friend.

Hey, forget the bit where I said "(join 1. as all one long link)". Pricspy did it for you. Thanks Pricespy, nice.
