Another thing - If you're playing a game jump on Mumble! I'm crap at this but my excuse is that I don't really have a pair of headphones at the moment. I don't know what ones to get :(

New poll has been updated. Minecraft has been added due to high interest. Burnout because it is great in large games of up to 8. And Left 4 Dead 2 in reminiscence
I have also fixed the poll to show the every members posts publicly.

Looking forward come Friday, Sat and Sun. It's the first weekend of school holidays :P

How is that an issue? is it because of Burnout trying to detect video and audio devices?

Yeah, because DXTory installs a virtual webcam and when you first start up Burnout it tries to take a photo of you but it doesn't like the virtual webcam. Spent half an hour one night trying to get it to work without luck.

I might have headphones by the weekend.. I fixed my HD448's but the quality is starved because I replaced half of the cable with a crappy Nokia stock one. I'll have a dig around and see if I have any better cables I could use.

Did you try disabling it in Device Manager?

Probably the wrong impedance. Or wires that can't handle as much current as is needed. At least you know why they weren't working, and can fix the problem.

Yeah I was thinking along those lines. I'll have another fiddle tonight, I should have some other cables I can use.

Chucked another one on and the 448's are much better :D I mustn't have shielded the cables properly though because it's a little temperamental.

They are not listed there, they are in the registry. I saw someones fix was to delete them from the registry but I'm not going to risk that just so I can play Burnout.

Open the burnout config thing from steam, you can choose a webcam their. Also I had dctory installed and it worked fine, I think you can skip the photo.

Yeah I've tried selecting "None" under the webcam option, still crashes for me. I've tried different compatibility modes with no luck. As I say, I tried for about 30 minutes before giving up.

Haha, its funny how you are trying to keep it on topic... if you haven't notice pretty much every thread on priceSpy goes off topic.
